Editorial Spread (Spring edition)

Crescent Magazine is an award-winning student-run publication at Southern Connecticut State University that highlights campus life, student personalities, and local stories. It covers diverse topics through in-depth features, photography, and video, focusing on student achievements, unique hobbies, and community issues.

For the spring edition of the magazine, I came into the process with more experience and confidence as a layout assistant. I designed more spreads this time and became more comfortable exploring layouts while still keeping the visual identity of the magazine consistent. Throughout the semester, I continued working closely with the layout team, receiving feedback from the lead designer, making revisions, and preparing the final spreads before they were sent into production.
